A sea front property, now apartments, which may once have been a hotel. The boarded up place next to it was definitely a hotel. The map still labels it as "The Ancient Mariner." The name Lansdowne seems to crop up everywhere, as crescents, houses, squares, streets or whatever, but why was it so popular?
