Old Milestone by the former A417, Gloucester Road, Stratton Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road (was A417), in parish of CIRENCESTER (COTSWOLD District), by the road. Erected by the Cirencester to Birdlip turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- CIREN:R DISTRICT CIREN:R 1 Milestone Society National ID: GL_CIWW01.
