The milestone is near to Pode Hole opposite No.259 Bourne Road on north verge. Cast iron post, Thorncliffe iron casting design, erected by Lincoln Heath to Peterborough - West District turnpike trust, 19th century. Inscription reads: // GUTHRAM / 4M //SPALDING / 2M // SPALDING Milestone Society National ID: LI_SPGU02
