The lane affords great sidelong views of The Wrekin, and also carries the Shropshire Way for a couple of miles out of Little Wenlock. It also passes a little house called Spring Cottage at the bottom of the hill here. Some good farmyard manure steams in the field on the left, awaiting being muckspread to renourish the adjacent fields.
