The core of these three shops is a row of 16/17th century, timber framed houses, refronted in brick in the 18th, presumably extended upwards at that time, and with shopfronts added in the 20th century; some parts of the historic frames are visible at the rear. They were collectively Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1255098 & https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101255098-6-7-and-8-wyle-cop-shrewsbury in 1972.
