In the graveyard of Govan Old Parish Church. The distinctive symbols show this is the gravestone of a weaver. In fact about a fifth of all the grave markers here were of weavers, as weaving was the main industry in Govan before ship building took over in the 19th century. The churchyard is a Scheduled Monument https://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/SM10393, on account of the collection of medieval stones found within it (the Govan Stones) and now on display within the church itself.
