Old Wayside Cross in Langholm

Langholm Mercat Cross, the old head, shaft and base of a central cross. Set in front of the library on Parliament Square in Langholm. The cross stood in front of the Town Hall at NY36468450 from 1723 until about 1848. It was reassembled and erected at Green Bank House NY363847, then moved to its present location in 1968.
