Parish Boundary Marker at the foot of Washer Lane Steps on the north side of the A6026 Wakefield Road. Inscription effaced but perhaps (DIVISION / OF / SKIRCOAT / AND / SOWERBY BRIDGE). Shown on the south side of Wakefield Road until the 1961 map. On the former boundary of Sowerby Bridge and Skircoat or Halifax parishes. Unparished since 1974.
