Originally built as a house in 1723, and subsequently converted to a bank, then into two separate shops on the ground floor more recently. The whole was Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1246908 & https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101246908-37-38-and-38a-castle-street-shrewsbury in 1972.
