This is a former Roman Catholic School built on the north side of what was then Spicer Street but is now renamed Buxton Street after the nearby Truman Brewery. The two simple crosses on the gable ends of the roof that parallels the street are just visible, and appear to be the only vestiges of the school's former religious use.
