Looking along Main Street in Long Preston when travelling towards Hellifield, the West Riding CC milestone can be seen. The attachments for the milestones on this route were cast at the William Towler Globe Foundry in Leeds. They are fixed to their backing stone by 4 bolts but the lower two on this milestone are below pavement level. Grade II listed 1166456.
