Two Teichmann travelling cranes supervise the transfer of precast concrete tunnel linings. Delivered in stacks of five on flat railway wagons, the cranes will build stacks of seven alongside for transfer to the tunnelling machines. Seven pieces make a complete ring of the lining. The grey arches on the right are covering a conveyor belt taking tunnel spoil offsite. Photo number 7856089.
