Not living up to its name just now, early on a sunny summer morning, but you can see how a street this narrow, with tall buildings on each side and aligned more or less east-west, probably doesn't get much direct sunlight for most of the day. Note the yarn bombed bollard. There are quite a few of these in town. Enthusiastic knitters obviously live here. The bollard shadow shows exactly where the sun is at this moment. The light will soon change.
