At one time it would have been possible to go around the Heras fencing. However now the brambles are so interwoven with the fence a bush hook would be required to hack a way past. The right of way runs for 918m where it joins Wheeley Footpath 12 which finally comes out on the A133 near Gutteridge Lodge.
