Mid 18th century house, dated 1748, converted to warehousing in the early 20th century with an extensive shop frontage extending across the neighbouring no.56. This is how the listing currently (2024) describes the building but in the early 21st century the shop front was removed and replaced with new masonry in original form, and the building together with nos.56 and 57 to its right were converted to flats. Listed Grade II.
