Railway embankment and new housing construction

The embankment is the course of the Cross Gates–Wetherby line which was dismantled in the Beeching cuts. New housing is being constructed along the west side of the East Leeds Orbital Route. I think the course of the railway is safeguarded to allow for potential reinstatement in the future.
