The restaurant occupies the ground floor of a modern apartment block on the corner of Gordon View. The block replaces the former Becketts Arms pub of 1920. In a 1993 guide to Leeds pubs, this was the only drinking place in Meanwood, but 30 years later the area has many micropubs and bars.
