Bempton War Memorial

Bempton War Memorial stands in the Churchyard of St Michael's church. It is Grade II-listed (List Entry Number: 1430548 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1430548 Historic England). The memorial comprises a 5m tall stone cross. The cross-head carries a central rose to the front and rear whilst the arms bear other decorative motifs, and is set on an octagonal shaft rising from a pedimented square plinth set on a simple square base.
