This is the northern entrance to the Ponsbourne tunnel below Blackfan Wood. The section of line is between Bayford and Cuffley stations. Photo taken from the road bridge next to Bayford station (with a telephoto lens). See Image for the correct perspective. Ponsbourne Tunnel is about 1½ miles long.
