Echills Wood Railway - Harvesters Station

This is a 7.25" gauge miniature railway and the theme for the day was locomotives modelled on standard gauge steam and diesel engines. The train had just arrived back at the station and the passengers were climbing off the ride on rolling stock. The two LNER Pacific type locomotives performed faultlessly all day. The track is over a mile long and a journey round is about 17 minutes. A mile of 7.25" gauge is equivalent to about 7.8 miles of standard gauge.
