Evening sunshine catches a no 36 bus, operated by Transdev, as it awaits departure from Ripon's rather basic bus station. The service runs to Harrogate and Leeds using a fleet of double deckers with high-backed seating, compensating to some extent for Ripon's lack of a railway station.
