The dual carriageway here is split, with a large tree-filled central reservation reflecting the fact that this carriage way was the original A31, before the dualling created the eastbound carriageway. The traffic seen has just surmounted the hill from Cadnam. The track in the foreground affords access to Stoney Cross Lodge and other private houses.
