A few wooden crosses are left on the steps, marking the respect of those who left the village in times of conflict and did not return. The cross is a simple enough edifice, being a Portland Stone shaft and cross, rising from an octagonal plinth and three-stepped square base. It is situated in a small triangle of grass at the junction of three roads. Grade II listed.
