Newsham Station, signal box and level crossing

The new railway station at Newsham, being built as part of the Northumberland Line project, restoring passenger rail services between Ashington and Newcastle for the first time since the Beeching cuts. Newsham Station is scheduled to open in the summer of 2024, but some other stations on the line have been delayed to 2025. The photo includes the existing Newsham South signal box and level crossing.
