Yes kids, some houses used to be this small; basically one room with a loft above for sleeping quarters and dwelled in by an unmarried ploughman, stockman or shepherd maybe. It is a miracle that it has survived. I think I heard that it was to be restored? Not much has come of that it seems. It is probably worth a lot, as a holiday let maybe? An AirB&B? A compact and bijou weekend getaway pad... A snip at £150K! I can hear the estate agents blurb now: Detached, half-timbered, historic building situated on the very periphery of this popular and much sought after village, commanding uninterrupted outlook over surrounding hills and fields. No gas, electric or water links and with retro solar panelling in the form of corrugated tin roof... I am sure it could be sensitively improved. I hope to see it when it is.
