Derelict Town Centre - Stevenage

Image: © andy Taken: 20 May 2024

Taken from Event Island (Former Bus Station) in Stevenage Town Centre. This area of the town has started to become run down due to high rent and shops moving out, this particular area when it was the old Bus Station was thriving with people and very busy with every retail unit having a shop. The building in this photo is the former Lloyds Bank and to the right is the Town Square Chambers both due to soon be demolished as part of the Regeneration Scheme by Stevenage Borough Council.
