This old sign, with a finger pointing in the direction of the golf course, is sited opposite Heatheryett Lodge on Heatheryett Drive. The route indicated has been closed to vehicular traffic for many years now Image] and the course is no longer municipal, with the club taking over the running of the course from the local district council in 1992. There used to be a similar sign at the foot of Forebrae Park on the High Road.
