Standing proudly on a sandstone outcrop, the green dome of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church dominates the skyline and is one of the great landmarks of the Wirral Peninsula. It can be seen not only from all over Wallasey but also from Bidston Hill and from Liverpool to Crosby on the opposite bank of the Mersey.
