One of three surviving bridges out of an original four over this road, carrying lines radiating from Leeds' several Victorian railway stations. This one still carries the lines to Bradford and Halifax. This side of it was the fourth bridge, of which the abutments remain. It carried tracks into Copley Hill engine shed, closed in 1964 and the site of which is now occupied by the Metalbox factory Image
