A residential linking Ham Road, the B2223, and Brougham Road. It was initially laid out in the late 19th century to provide access to the expanding glasshouse industry in the area. Housing was first added during the 1920s with development along the northern side from Ham Road to Thesiger Road and continued as the nurseries closed after the Second World War.
