Seen from across the graveyard at Govan Old Parish Church. The building was designed by Sir R. Rowand Anderson in 1892 and built 1902-5. It was given to Govan by the widow of Sir William Pearce, owner of Fairfield shipyard and MP for Govan. It is Category A listed https://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB33352.
