Category A listed https://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB33353 church, built in 1883-8 on the site of previous churches dating back at least to the medieval period. The graveyard is a Scheduled Monument https://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/SM10393 on account of the early medieval carved stones found there and now housed within the church. The Church of Scotland announced the church's closure in 2007. It is now run by the Govan Heritage Trust.
