The building is listed grade II (list entry 1255883) where it is recorded that it was built as the Saracen's Head for William Booth and Co., c.1873. At the time of listing in 1975 it was a bank, and does not appear in a CAMRA guide to Leeds pubs published in 1993. The Images of England project has a photo from 2005 when the ground floor was a Ladbrokes betting shop, as it still was on 2010 Image, but it has reverted to its original use since then.
