This group of Jerseys seems to consist of one adult cow and several calves of different ages, one of which is suckling in the photograph. The steep-sided hill in the background seems to have more trees on it than you would expect from looking at the map. There are probably no livestock grazing there allowing scrub and later trees to grow.
