Carved stone post by the A48, in parish of MINSTERWORTH (TEWKESBURY District), 100m East of Village Hall, in hedge, on North side of road. Elton stone, erected by the Elton (District of Huntley & Mitcheldean) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : 4 / TO / GLO'STER / 7 / TO / NEWNHAM : Carved benchmark and rivet on top. Grade II Listed.
