This view is near the bottom end of the road. The 18C or early 19C houses on the left have been extended and the extension has a massive stone lintel over the garage door. At the top end of this block there are a pair of large stone gateposts (one just visible) that belonged to the demolished mill that was behind on the steep slope down to Tofts Grove.
