Theatre on Steephill Road. The original building on the site was the Literary and Scientific Institute, built in 1878-9. This became the town hall in 1913, before being rebuilt as a theatre in 1933-4 following a fire. The architects for the reconstruction were Messrs Cooper and Corbett.
