Sundial in Ellon Castle Gardens

The sundial probably dates from the early 18th century, though it has been suggested that it is 17th century on an 18th century shaft. It has 24 hollows, each with a gnomon, and a sign nearby states the obvious by saying that all 24 tell the same time. It is a Category A Listed building.
