Some fruiting bodies of either Sarcoscypha austriaca (scarlet elfcup) or Sarcoscypha coccinea (ruby elfcup). Both species are very similar and require microscopic identification for confirmation. They grow on rotting sticks and branches on the woodland floor. Seen here beside Gary Wright Way in Blanefield.
