Two more fine public buildings bequeathed to the city courtesy of Thomas Shelmerdine, City Surveyor. The former public baths, 1904-06, were done with W.R. Court, Baths Engineer, a post unimaginable in 2024. Original Arts and Crafts. Wavertree Library, 1902-03, is more in keeping with his other city libraries (Image]). Grade II listed. The former was a 'one stop shop' for Liverpool City Council, but this appears to have since closed.
