Houston’s Mill was a derelict 18th century flax scutching mill. Now extensively restored it is used as a community centre. The grounds have picnic tables, sites and services for motor homes and attractive flower beds. The ancestors of General Sam Houston (the man who brought Texas into the Union) came from the area. This National Cycle Network post is in the grounds.
