Among the most monumental of the city's surviving warehouses and among the city's first fireproof ones. The complex encompasses eleven six-storey stacks. By S. & J. Holme, c1844, for P.W. Brancker. Grade II listed. There were signs of neglect, but it was at least partly occupied by Plutus UK which specialises in "warehousing, bonded storage, bulk alcohol storage, contract packing, document archiving and distribution." Its website states that its Liverpool warehousing offers 120,000 square feet and 1.5 million litres of storage.
