The Milestone is located against a fence at the back of the verge on the North side of the road. Parish of Keswick (Allerdale District). Metal plate attached to stone post, Cockermouth plate design, erected by the Keswick turnpike trust in the 19th Century. Restored by Terry Moore in 2017. Inscription reads:- COCKERMOUTH / 11 MILES / KESWICK / 2 MILES Milestone Society National ID: CU_CMKW11
