It's April but the weather is still cold and the grass has not started growing yet. These silage bales will fill the gap before the spring flush of growth. With the wrapping removed they can be placed in the circular feeding racks that can be seen in the middle distance. Tractor work and cattle hooves create a lot of mud in winter. In the distance you can see the hills on the other side of the Teifi Valley.
