These semi-detached properties were built in 1934. Development in the area paused during WWII, then resumed with a more modern style in 1957 then on until the 1960s. Many front gardens in the street are now concreted over to accommodate multiple cars. That acer shrub really was that rich in colour, but only lasted another week until the leaves dropped off.
