The A6093 (High Street) turns to the left as Hardgate. To the right it meets the B6368 (Sidegate). Straight on is Church Street. The surrounding buildings are 18th or early 19th century and Category B listed. Boombarbers is a barbers shop. A lollipop lady is assisting people across the road.
