A summary of the history of this site is given by Louise Bush (Bush, L., 2016 unpublished. Cambridge International School, Little Abington. Archaeological Evaluation Report, Oxford Archaeology East, Report Number 1956,). At the back of the site archaeological trenches confirmed geophysical evidence for a Neolithic henge monument. Evidence for later Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman, Saxon and Medieval activities exists over the wider area. The current buildings include the Grade II Listed 19th century former north lodge to Abington Hall (later becoming the Temple Cafe and Restaurant), and buildings of the former Cambridge International School (now located in Cambridge), seen here, boarded up.
