Broadview Gardens in the grounds of Hadlow College are the training area for horticultural students. Before lockdown, it had a thriving café which anyone could visit and a garden centre. When lockdown came, all the staff were made redundant and the café closed down. The garden centre struggled on but the café brought in most of their customers so that too closed down about a year ago. The gardens are still open but they have a rather neglected feel. The Japanese Garden alone looked reasonably well cared for.
