At the mini roundabout Glan Mor leads into Balaclava Road. To the right is Crown Street. On the corner are public toilets. Behind these is a turning circle and coach drop off point. Opened in 1915, the Empire was Caernarfon's first purpose built cinema. It became a venue for both bingo and movies in the early 1970s before moving entirely to bingo. It is now owned by Apollo Leisure.
