Accelerating away from its call at Dolwyddelan is unit number 197018, forming the 1418h to Blaenau Ffestiniog. I had not expected to find such a convenient and picturesque location, nor that the sun would shine for as long as it took for the train to arrive. A continued assault on lineside vegetation would help, too!
